When working in somatic movement dance therapy, it is important to find time to move, rest, and recharge. Equally, when working in Higher Education you can feel tired, as you continuously support others. These training weekends are designed to inspire and support the practitioners, as well as the participants.

19th and 20th of February Recovery from COVID isolation: Parasympathetic rest, ease and flow E-mail to book: amanda@movingsoma.co.uk Cost £150 for the weekend
MovingSoma offers a range of sessions focusing on releasing stress, relieving depression and anxiety, and learning how to ease pain.
The focus of these retreats is recovery from a very difficult year via learning how to move from sympathetic arousal into parasympathetic release.
If you feel overwhelmed by extra workloads or isolated, these retreats offer a special time to rest with Self and others in a safe environment.
We ask all participants and staff to do a lateral flow test everyday and we require all participants to sign a COVID waver form. We work in small groups to minimise transmission and the studios are cleaned twice a day.
